A solid film. If you're a fan of Dexter, then you might just enjoy this film about a counsellor who takes it upon himself to dish out retribution and justice as he sees fit. It's not a bad watch, it's very graphic and brutal, but despite the shocking scenes it's just a little bit lifeless at times, almost dull, I'd put that down to some of the characters, who at times feel a little flat. Seann William Scott does a fine job as Evan, he's very strong, if totally dead pan.

The film weaves a compelling story that doesn't leave out the laughs - keep your eye out for a scene with two misfortunate hunters who wander off into the forbidden wood - it was my favorite.
